Our expertise
We focus on obtaining drinking water from brackish and salt water, and also in processing various kinds of landfill leachate, process- and industry water using membrane technologies.
We use reverse osmosis as well as ultrafiltration and microfiltration, in line with the respective task in hand.
Our systems are designed in line with the specific customer’s exact requirements. We deliver systems that are fully integrated into containers or for hall-based or shipping tasks with their own base frames.
When developing and building our systems, user-friendliness and ease of use and also cost-efficient operations are always a top priority.
Our specialties include producing water preparation systems for commercial ships, offshore industries and the navy. Special regulations for shock, vibration and EMV tests apply in these fields, and we have highly-experienced specialists for these highly technical requirements.
We guarantee constant high quality, which is also verified by our certification from various classification institutions, such as TÜV, Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Lloyds Register (LR) or the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). It goes without saying that all of our systems undergo our own company QA with an FAT protocol.
Our technologys
Depending on the membrane method, we use different filtration modules to process the water.
Reverse osmosis is the most energy-intensive method, and generally requires pressure of between 10 and 120 bar, whereas ultrafiltration and microfiltration works with pressures of between 0,5 and 5 bar.
The disc tube module is used for reverse osmosis for difficult untreated waters. This module’s open channels are an advantage, and it is thus less susceptible to blockages such as fouling and scaling, organic and inorganic deposits. The open channel also allows effective cleaning.
In addition, so-called hollow fibre modules are used in the spirally wound module for reverse osmosis and for microfiltration and ultrafiltration.
